All UTA students are welcome to our free Thursday noon meals, Tuesday night worship, Bible Studies, retreats, mission trips, and fun stuff. ‘God loves you; we love you, and we want you to do well while you are at UTA.’ Our mission at the Wesley Foundation is . . . create a vibrant, worshipful environment, which fosters diverse involvement and prepares students to be Christian leaders, sending them forth into service in the world. We envision a growing, sprit-filled campus ministry comprehensively funded by the UMC and secondly through corporate and foundation grants as well as Alumni support and finally through in-kind giving, volunteer services and fundraising. . . . seek to develop leaders by engaging students and others in classes, worship, opportunities for service, participation in teams, and assuming responsibility for the Wesley Foundation programs. . . .a peaceful retreat where all students can gather to find a God-inspired, caring fellowship, enjoy good fun and the Wesley Foundation seeks to foster spirit-filled growth through Bible study, engaged student leadership, vibrant involvement and loving accountability. |
